Dear Class of 2020! We are so excited to prepare this Virtual Graduation Ceremony to celebrate the class of 2020 and all you have accomplished together as a class!
In order to do that, we need your help!
First, we need a picture of you in your cap & gown. This picture will be displayed while we read your name during the ceremony! Be sure to submit a photo by uploading the labeled Cap and Gown Photo that includes your last name, first name, and ID # to dropbox. The deadline is Monday, June 8th at 5:00 PM. (Please be sure to submit your photo from your school email account.)
During the graduation ceremony, each graduate wears the tassel so that it is hanging on the right side of the cap. Then, after receiving the diploma, the graduate moves the tassel from the right side to the left side symbolizing that the student has transitioned from student to graduate! With that being said, we need a short video of your smiling face while you move the tassel from the right side to the left side! Have the person recording your video hold the phone horizontally when recording. Please submit that here: Video of Tassel Switch from Right Side to Left Side. The deadline is Monday, June 8th at 5:00 PM.
Lastly, one of the best moments at graduation is witnessing all the graduates toss their cap up into the air in celebratory triumph of their recent accomplishment! Please submit your video of your Cap Toss in the Air! Have the person recording your video hold the phone horizontally when recording. The deadline is Monday, June 8th at 5:00 PM.

Remember, graduation is a dignified ceremony, so to be included, all photos must be appropriate for the setting! Here are some Tips to Look Your Best on Camera from Delack Media Company. Please adhere to their media guidelines in order to capture the best photos and videos for our Virtual Graduation Ceremony honoring you! The deadline to submit your photos and videos is Monday, June 8th at 5:00 PM. Lastly, please note that all media collected through dropbox will become property of the district to be used for our 2020 Virtual Graduation and senior celebration purposes!

We want to honor our graduates, and their families, by saying their name correctly. In a typical year our readers would be present at Graduation practices, and students would have the opportunity to check-in with the readers and confirm pronunciations.
