Calculator Information

If you are taking Math 1/1s, Math 2/2H, Math 3/3H, you will be required to have a graphing calculator on the first day of class.  Your teacher will demonstrate in class on a Texas Instruments model.  If you are purchasing a new calculator we recommend any in the TI-84 plus or TI-83 plus families of calculators.  The calculators will go on sale from time to time throughout the summer at office supply retailers (Staples, Office Max, etc.) and big box stores (Wal-Mart, Target…) or online retailers such as Amazon.   You will be able to use this calculator throughout your coursework in high school as well as standardized college exams such as SAT and ACT.

*Calculators with symbolic manipulators such as the TI-Nspire CAS, TI-92 and TI-89 will not be allowed on tests.
