DGS Drama Announces Black History Month Play

DGS Drama is excited to announce the 2023 Black History Month play, “School Girls; Or. The Black Mean Girls Play.”  The production centers around Paulina, the reigning queen bee at Ghana’s most exclusive boarding school, who has her sights set on the Miss Global Universe pageant. But the arrival of Ericka, a new student, captures the attention of the pageant recruiter - and Paulina’s friends. The production explores the universal similarities (and glaring differences) facing teenage girls across the world. 

RESCHEDULED: The production runs February 16 &17 in the Studio Theatre at 7 p.m.

Tickets are 10 dollars for general admission and five dollars for senior citizens. 

High school students get in for free with their DGS or DGN ID.
