Class of 2027
- October 2024 - Partner schools recommend 8th gr. students for AVID Application Process
- November 4th - Email sent to parents/guardians of perspective AVID students with AVID application
- December 13th - AVID applications must be complete
- January 8-9 - During these days, students that have completed the AVID application will be interviewed by the DGS AVID site team and AVID students.
- Week of January 20th - During this week, AVID applicants will receive a letter letting them know if they have been accepted into the DGS AVID program.
- January 27th - Students accepted into the AVID program will see AVID on the list of possible course electives when they attend Future Mustang Night at DGS.
- February 1st - Students accepted into AVID may register for the AVID program with their counselor when they meet to choose classes during Freshman Registration.
