The DGN Boys Cross Country Team Won the 2023 State Championship!
We are excited and proud to announce that the DGN Boys Cross Country Team has won the 2023 State Championship!
To welcome the team home, the team bus will be escorted by police and fire vehicles for a victory cruise through Downers Grove. We encourage the community to line the streets and cheer for our winning athletes and coaches as they make their way towards Downers Grove North High School!
Parade Time: Approximately 7 p.m. TODAY
Starting Location: McCollum Park
Route: North on Main Street from McCollum Park through downtown Downers Grove, past the front entrance of Downers Grove North High School
Ending Location: West Events Entrance
Immediately following the victory parade down Main Street, the school will hold a Championship Ceremony in the North High Commons. The team will be celebrated by the community, family and friends, coaches will make speeches, and the team will pose for photos with the state trophy. The DGN Girls Cross Country team will also be celebrated! Please join us!
