DGN 9th Grade Orientation

We're excited to start the year and want to remind you of the upcoming new student orientation!
Orientation for all 9th graders and new students will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15; you may arrive as early as 4:25 p.m. (no need to come any earlier). Please enter at the Main Street entrance (please drop off students in the Main Street parking lot - NOT ON Main Street), where you will be greeted by several VERY excited Positively North student leaders who have been preparing all summer to lead you through a fun afternoon of leadership and learning that will ensure a successful Day #1 as a Trojan. Orientation will end at 7 p.m.
9th Graders and New Students: Please bring your schedule with you (you don’t have to print it out; having a copy on your phone is ok!). Schedules will be available starting August 11th - Please log in to Home Access Center to see your 23-24 schedule. Parents/Guardians/Families: we will have a parent meeting at 6:15 p.m. in the Clarence Johnson Auditorium. Please enter at the Main Street entrance. You can meet the DGN administration and hear from a few parents about the important things to know as you prepare to send your student to high school. The meeting will conclude at 7 p.m.
We encourage ALL students and families to stick around after the meeting - you can meet up with your student afterward and take a self-guided building tour, purchase DGN gear from our Athletic Boosters, and members of our administrative team will also be available in the Commons for any questions.
