The public is cordially invited to attend and experience the finest high school marching ensembles in the Midwest.
The 17th Annual Marching Mustangs Music Bowl will take place on Saturday, October 12 at the Downers Grove South High School Stadium. High school marching bands from around the Midwest will perform and compete in the stadium. Tickets are available at the gate (cash only) for $12 per person, $8 for seniors and students.
The competition starts at 12 p.m., with 17 competing bands at 15-minute intervals. Starting at 7 p.m., the top 10 bands from the preliminary competition will perform for a final ranking. Awards will be given at the end of the evening to the best band in each classification. An overall grand champion will also be named at the end of the evening finals event. Patrons are welcome to stay for a few bands or come and enjoy the entire day to see and hear some of the best high school marching bands in the Midwest.
