District 99’s finances remain stable despite state funding that is not only in arrears but the furthest behind in history. If the state funding is forthcoming, the District expects to close the books on 2009-10 with an $800,000 surplus.
Community High School District 99 will seek the opinions of community members, parents, business owners, students, teachers and staff as part of its strategic planning process, which will be launched this summer.
The State of the District report, presented at the July 19, 2010 Board of Education meeting, shows that the District is making steady progress on its multi-year goals.
