COLLEGE & CAREER
Attention Juniors: Ms. Nolan, Mr. Robinson and Mrs. Hash will be meeting with all juniors during their lunch resource periods this Wednesday the 13th. We will share more information about the April SAT, including the new College Board lottery scholarship for the class of 2020 and how to save money by maximizing your SAT score sends. All juniors who have a lunch resource should report to E238 with their Chromebooks. The Library and the Math Resource will both be closed to juniors on Wednesday.
ACTIVITIES
DGS Students, be sure to check your email for more information about the upcoming Yoga class during lunch periods on Thursday, March 14th. This a special class with guest instructor Laura Jane from Yoga Among Friends. The class will last one entire class period. All participants must pre-register.
While yoga is going on in A100A, other activities will be available throughout the library during lunch resource periods on March 14th. Students and staff can color, journal, or make some cool crafts with beads! Be sure to get involved! See you there!
Calling all musicians, vocalists and dancers!!! Cultures in Alliance (CIA) will be holding auditions for our annual talent show in April. Auditions will be next Tuesday, March 12th after school in the Cafetorium. We welcome talents of all kinds!! See Mr. Vetri in A110 for more information.
Hey Mustangs, many of you may know that Pi is defined as the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. But did you know that Pi day is also Albert Einstein's birthday? In honor of Einstein and Pi, your dgs math department is hosting a Pi memorization contest this Thursday between 7:25 am and 7:50 am in room D375.
