On November 7, 2018, the DGS Girls Cross Country team celebrated its third place at State! All team members at all levels signed the trophy, which was presented to the school during the ceremony. Superintendent Dr. Hank Thiele, District 99 Board President Dr. Nancy Kupka, and Board Members Mike Davenport, Terry Pavesich and Dan Nichols attended the celebration.
