Dear District 99 Community:
We have received several questions this morning, following the closures of surrounding schools due to COVID-19.
Currently, there have been no confirmed COVID-19 cases at District 99.
Please know that we are in close communication with the DuPage County Health Department officials to better understand the next steps for our community moving forward. They are not recommending school closures at this time.
We will be meeting with the health department officials later today to discuss other mitigation strategies that we may need to implement, including canceling large events and gatherings.
We will inform you as soon as we receive guidance, and of our plans.
