Pedestrian Safety Study and Recommendations

In partnership with the Village of Downers Grove, District 99 has embarked on a pedestrian safety study. In September, many community members attended the Community Pedestrian Safety Forums as well as provided input and ideas on this interactive map. (You can read the suggestions made; however, the commenting period is now closed.) To read more about this study and effort, please click here

On November 14, the pedestrian safety consultants shared their report and recommendations for safety improvements surrounding both North High and South High. If you weren't able to attend the meeting, below you will find segmented videos for each area discussed along with the presentation slides included in the video.
