Hybrid Learning: March 15-19

D99 Administration to Recommend New Schedule March 15

Dear District 99 Students and Families:

The most recent 14-day positivity rate as of 3 p.m. today is 4.12%; therefore, we will be following the 2021 Hybrid Schedule next week.

NOTE: On Monday, the Board of Education will discuss and determine a plan for our schedule starting April 6, after spring break. The administration’s recommended plan, which is to provide an opportunity for all students to return to full in-person learning, will be posted to the agenda on Monday afternoon. Thank you to the students, staff and community members who took the time to respond to our survey about possible schedules. We are processing the feedback from the surveys that closed this morning and will be working over the next few days to refine a plan based on your feedback. Please find Board information, including links to the agenda, supporting materials and ways to submit comments, here. Limited seating will be available at the meeting, which will be held at South High. The meeting will be streamed live at www.youtube.com/csd99media

REMINDERS FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING:

For those students attending school in person, please review these guidelines and expectations. Please remember that all parents/guardians must initial a self-certification slip (Spanish) each day that the student is symptom-free and can report to school for in-person learning.

We ask that in-person students continue to participate in the saliva screenings:

  • Group A  and Group E - Tuesday mornings
  • Group B - Friday mornings
  • T99 - Thursdays

For those students who ride the bus, please see the schedules here:

Please check your email or the www.csd99.org/2020-21 website for updates. The 14-day positivity rate will continue to be posted to this dashboard.

Thank you,

District 99
