State Climate Survey Now Open
The State of Illinois requires schools to issue a climate survey to students, staff and families every year. District 99 issues the Comprehensive School Climate Inventory to measure our community’s perceptions about the school environment, including safety, teaching and learning, interpersonal relationships and social media. We plan to use the feedback from this survey as another way to improve. In addition, student response rates directly impact the summative designation that is given to our schools by the Illinois State Board of Education.
We encourage students, staff and families to respond to the anonymous survey, which takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Student Participation
The Climate Survey will be issued to North High students on February 4 and South High students on February 5. Students will receive a unique link that is tied to their state ID number. Students who do not complete the survey during the Access class time will be called down to the main office to complete it. Those who opted out will not receive a link to the survey.
