Upcoming Financial Aid Nights: Sept. 9 and 10

You’re invited to learn more about FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at two online events next week. Families are encouraged to watch the meeting as all students in the Class of 2021 are required to complete the FAFSA this year. Please register in advance for one of the two meetings. Please note that Thursday’s event will be presented in Spanish only.

This session outlines the general financial aid process and provides insight on how financial aid works, how to apply for it, student eligibility, and how it can be used to help pay for college. It introduces the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) along with summarizing state and federal aid programs among other topics.

Esta sesión describe el proceso general de ayuda financiera y brinda información sobre cómo funciona la ayuda financiera, cómo solicitarla, la elegibilidad de los estudiantes y cómo se puede utilizar para ayudar a pagar la universidad. La sesión presenta la Solicitud Gratuita de Ayuda Federal para Estudiantes (FAFSA por sus siglas en inglés) junto con un resumen de los programas de ayuda estatal y federal, entre otros temas.
