District 99 senior instrumentalists of Downers Grove North High Wind Ensemble and District 99 Symphonic Orchestra will present their "Senior Solos" in a series of live-stream broadcasts:
- Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. featuring Emma Krause and Miles Teague
- Tuesday, May 5 at 1 p.m. featuring Rebecca Edmundson, Kristen Karam, Therese Malinowski, Braden Moore, Catherine Ramsey, and Emily Wootton
Community members can view the broadcasts live on the DGN Fine Arts Department YouTube Channel. Also, both performances can be viewed at a later time. District 99 will be sharing information with local hospitals, nursing homes, and retirement communities to share with their patients and residents. Interested organizations can inform their technology team to connect to their closed-circuit television station. Also, it is recommended to add to the organization's programming listing for the week.
“Streaming our seniors final performances will give the students a sense of performing in front of a live audience, as they would have if school was in session,” District 99 Orchestra Director Jennifer Mullen said. “The students are very excited to know that their senior solo will be shared with patients and residents at local hospitals and nursing homes.”
