Monica Muciaccia

Monica Muciaccia joined District 99 in 2013 and serves as a School Psychologist for Downers Grove South High School. In her role, she supports students socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically. She also collaborates with parents, educators, and other professionals to create a safe and healthy learning environment. As a School Psychologist, she is highly trained in psychology and education in order to work with students and their families to identify and address learning and social/emotional concerns which interfere with school success.

She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Sponsor of Join The Movement Club.

Monica studied at Illinois State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. As a graduate and post-graduate she attended National Louis University, receiving a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in School/Educational Psychology and Education Specialist (Ed.S) in School Psychology.

In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog. She also enjoys being active, reading, cooking, baking, and anything that involves a beach and warm weather.
