Hello Trojan Students and Families,
Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! I am proud to serve as your new North High School principal and am honored to be a part of this caring and inspiring community.
On behalf of the North High School administration, we are excited to welcome you into the building with renewed energy and renovated spaces.

Trojanpalooza: Thursday, August 5 from 6-8 p.m.
New this year -- DGN invites 9th and 10th grade students and their families to a celebration as we transition back to full in-person learning. At 6:30 p.m., students and parents will break into separate informational sessions. Families can tour the building and meet with staff and students to learn more about DGN. Learn more and RSVP today!
New Student Orientation: Monday, August 9 from 4:30-7 p.m.
New students (9th grade and transfer students) are invited to get acclimated to DGN. During orientation, students will have the opportunity to walk the building to find their classes and their locker, meet new students, learn answers to common first-year questions and learn about the culture of our school. Parents, you’re invited to a special session beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Auditorium. Your session will end at the same time as the student orientation.
Parents Club: Wednesday, September 8 at 7 p.m.
Please consider joining Parents’ Club! It’s a great way to stay connected to the happenings at school, as well as connect with other parents in the community. Please click here to sign up and feel free to join us at our first meeting on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 7 p.m. (location TBD). Parents Club helps to raise funds for student scholarships and they also provide a great network to help parents navigate the high school years. Dr. DeMent gives monthly updates and presentations to parents to help keep them informed of relevant information at DGN. Please email dgnorthpc@gmail.com if you have any questions about signing up or would like more information. We will also send out more information closer to our first meeting.
It was a pleasure to sit down with senior Jade Toledano in an interview for the most recent episode of Trojan Talk. I hope you will watch the interview and learn a little bit more about my background, my high school years, my vision for the year and more.
