North High Science Teacher Jeff Grant has been named “Outstanding Biology Teacher of Illinois” for the 2020-21 school year by the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT).
“His dedication to the students, school and community are exemplary,” wrote Gloria Latta, Outstanding Biology Teacher Director of Illinois. “He is abreast of the cutting edge technology and pedagogy and his classes are student centered and inquiry based - especially in this remote learning environment.”
“Jeff is very deserving of this prestigious recognition,” said Janice Schwarze, principal of North High. “His passion for both students and science is second to none, and North High is lucky to have him as part of our faculty.”
