DGN Students Earn National French Contest Recognition

North High students took the optional National French Contest “Le Grand Concours” this spring and 21 students earned recognition for their performance.

French Level 2: 

  • Silver Medal: Sarah Jeske
  • Bronze Medal: Tabitha Irvin
  • Honorable Mention: Stephen Cecil, Abigail France, Sreeja Nallamala, Vona Balaoing,Carolyn-Paige Breit, Katherine Cesario, Emily Hernandez 

French Level 4:

  • Silver Medal: Noah Pardue 
  • Bronze Medal: Edith Barlin, Alison Dry, Grace McTigue
  • Honorable Mention: Josh LeBlanc, Molly Doherty, Alexa Moy, Annelise Richardson, Paige Sadler, Heather Ramsey 

French Level 5: 

  • Bronze Medal: Belle Blanchard 
  • Gold Medal: Ella Dennis 

“Congratulations to our students for their commitment to the French language,” North High French Teacher Kelly Houlihan said. “Their hard work has paid off, especially as they are recognized amongst top French students nationwide.”
