    • For grade-specific information and support, we will follow a modified schedule on the first day of school, Friday, August 13 (bus times and details to follow):
      • Grades 11/12 in AM
      • Grades 9/10 in PM
    • Mondays will resume to a 9:20 a.m./Late Start schedule on August 16
  • All instruction will be delivered in person. School officials will review medical requests on a case-by-case basis, as we did before the pandemic.

Health and Safety Protocols

  • Everyone should monitor themselves for symptoms of illness before leaving home for school, stay home when they have signs of any illness and contact their healthcare provider for testing and care.
  • Masks:
    • Per the CDC, masks are required on buses and other school vehicles, including in Driver Education vehicles.
    • Mask wearing is recommended for those who are unvaccinated.
    • Masks are optional for everyone as a preventative practice.
  • Close contact :
    • Everyone should maintain a distance of more than 3 feet as much as possible.
    • Due to layered mitigation factors and low rates of COVID in our community, contact tracing and quarantine practices will continue at a reduced distance of less than 3 feet.
    • Per the CDC, those vaccinated do not need to quarantine.
    • Students in quarantine will receive instructional and social emotional support based on individual needs as well as synchronous access to teachers during office hours.
  • Practices around ventilation, handwashing and respiratory etiquette will continue at school.
  • Changes in guidance from federal, state or local health officials or an increase of illness at school could cause changes in practices throughout the year. See CDC/IDPH/ISBE Guidance
