Use File > Open Web
Always use File > Open Web to open your websites. Do not use File > Open,
even if you will be only working on one page.
Avoid Microsoft Word
Once your page has been created in Microsoft FrontPage, do not open your web with Microsoft
Word! Word could destroy information that FrontPage needs to maintain your theme, hyperlinks, and navigation
structure.
Publishing a Web Folder vs. Copying
FrontPage 2000 uses many hidden files to manage the navigation structure and theme of your
website.
Because of this, you should always use Publish to move your website from Web Folder to Web
Folder. Simply copying your Web Folder using Windows Explorer or My Computer could cause problems.
