1: Functional Literacy-"Can
students use the hardware and software?". Domain 1 is
divided into three components:
Component 1a: Demonstrate the understanding and use of the following software: word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation and Web browser. Component 1b: Demonstrate the use of imaging devices such as scanners, digital cameras, and/or video cameras with computer systems and software. Component 1c: Demonstrate the use of content specific productivity tools (i.e., graphic calculators, scientific probeware, CAD, etc.) and specialized software.
