Learning Disabilities--Instructional (LDIN)

Students with Learning Disabilities have average to above average intellectual ability, by definition. This hidden disability manifests itself in a discrepancy between this ability and weaker achievement in one or more areas. Services focus on strategies to compensate for weaknesses by altering learning environments, improving student problem solving techniques, and modifying the delivery of instruction, both in regular and special classes.
