Parent Support Center: 1.877.237.0946Quick LinksJanuary 2008 UpdateFrom MealpayPlus: We are excited to let you know that we will offer you a new and improved MealpayPlus beginning on January 1, 2008. We have added upgraded enhancements and features to MealpayPlus to continue to offer you the convenience and information you need to manage your student's account. In addition to a new state-of-the-art parent support center, you now have the ability to view pending and confirmed payments. Due to system upgrades, each parent will need to register or re-register their account on www.mealpayplus.com after January 1, 2008. Instructions on how to register are listed on www.mealpayplus.com. All account balances and deposits made through MealpayPlus before the end of the year will reflect on your new account. Don't forget to reset your your Low-Balance Email Reminders and Auto-Replenish payments. These settings will need to be re-activated on your new account. MealpayPlus allows parents to manage your student's meal account. MealpayPlus allows you to make deposits, view account balances at no cost, and even create settings to auto-replenish your account or receive free reminder emails when the balance is low. Summer 2007 UpdateAs mentioned in the July mailing, District 99 is implementing a new “point of sale” system to be used in our cafeterias. The system will allow students and parents to put money on account that can then be spent in the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch items. StudentsAs you approach the cafeteria registers, you will need to scan your identification card or enter your ID number into a keypad (all students will need to do this regardless of whether they are pre-paying for meals, or not). Your picture and personal account information is immediately available to the teller. The teller is able to debit purchases from your pre-established student account. Students that have qualified for free or reduced lunches will have accounts that reflect this status. This will eliminate the need for you to carry separate lunch cards. You will also be able to give cash or checks to the teller to put money on your account. Also, instead of receiving change back from a larger bill ($20, for example), you may find it convenient to apply your change to your account. The next time that you wish to purchase food, money will be available to you on your account. ParentsTo put money on account for your students to use in the cafeteria, you can send cash or a check with them to give to the teller. Another way is to make payments for your child’s lunch by visiting www.mealpayplus.com or by calling a toll-free 866-498-4005, from anywhere, anytime. You will first have to register as a user with MealPay Plus. In order to register, you will need to know the student ID number of each student for which you wish to make a payment. After registering you will be able to:
To register online, visit www.mealpayplus.com, and click on the ‘Register’ tab on the left side of the screen. To register, you will need to have the school Student ID number assigned to your child. To make a payment to your student’s account by phone, call 866-498-4005. The MealpayPlus system makes security a priority, and basically utilizes the same security methods used by online banking services today. If you have payment processing questions or concerns, you can call 800-859-6508 between the hours of 8:00 - 5:00. Parents can also send emails to Support@Mealpay.com. |
