About Project CR.I.S.S

Project CR.I.S.S. is a nationally recognized method of introducing learning strategies to students and fostering student ownership and independent use of those strategies. CR.I.S.S. was designed for use in content area classrooms. CR.I.S.S. techniques are extremely valuable to learners. The use of these strategies assists learning throughout a person's lifetime. Project CR.I.S.S. has served as a District-wide initiative in Community District 99.

Announcing Project CR.I.S.S Parent Workshop!

The District's Project CR.I.S.S. and Title I programs are proud to co-sponsor a CR.I.S.S. Parent Open House. Our goal is to give parents hands-on experience with several CR.I.S.S. strategies to allow parents to suggest strategies to their teens and monitor their students' use of these important learning tools. Participation allows parents to become true partners with their school in an effort to achieve academic success with every student.

Attention All District 99 Parents!  The fourth annual CRISS Parent open house is February 23, 2006.  Contact Sandra Smycz (see link below) for a reservation.
