Downers
Grove (North) High School
marked the celebration of 75 years of service on Main Street
by awarding eight distinguished graduates the Alumni Award
of Excellence in October 2003. These graduates represent every
walk of life and profession, but all share a record of outstanding
accomplishment since they graduated from Downers Grove (North)
High School. Their presentation to the student body and
subsequent classroom visits inspired current students with
the desire to emulate the success they represent.
Downers
Grove (North) High School will continue inducting recipients
of the Alumni Award of Excellence, the newly designated
honor for graduates of distinction. We seek to honor those
graduates who have taken the Trojan tradition of excellence
and carried it into their life and career in any and all
fields.

alumni in key leadership positions and are aware of others'
accomplishments as well. The links at the bottom of this
page will provide you with a general announcement of this
award as well as a nomination form. Hopefully, you will
share this news with other alumni. You are also urged
to nominate worthy graduates for our consideration. We
encourage you to nominate yourself if you fit the description.
We
are deeply honored by the rich tradition of our graduates
all over the world. We feel certain our students will
truly benefit from exposure to the continuing accomplishments
of those who preceded them. We are excited at the prospect
of launching this very special effort to honor you and
your fellow alumni.
