Nominees have made outstanding contributions in the area of science, government, community, humanitarian endeavors, athletics, or fine arts. The highest of Alumni awards recognizes those who have exhibited outstanding leadership, character, and service. The Alumni Award of Excellence award recipient serves as a role model to the students of the Downers Grove (North) High School Community.
