Vote today for the entries in Round 3 of the library's manga/graphic/anime contest. Monday, we're starting Round 4 so submit your work for the last preliminary round and then come vote on Round 4 winners.
Voting on Round 2 pairings is now available in the library's Tournament of Books--a March Madness Battle Royale of Literary Excellence. We're heading toward the #1 book at North High, voted so by North High readers.
Pick up the next round of pairings and vote in the library.
NHS members – There are still slots available for this Saturday’s West Suburban Humane Society Drive. If you need service points, this is a good opportunity. The sign-up sheet is on Mrs. Graham’s door, Room 220, and will be available through tomorrow afternoon. Thank you.
May the Luck of the Irish be yours! Wednesday is St. Patrick’s Day and you’ll want to be showing your green. Direct Action will be selling green carnations before school and during lunch periods for $1 each. Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals DuPage so make a donation and get a carnation!
Applications for director for the Dare lock- in are now in student activities. You have to be a senior and have experience as a small group leader.
Registration for AP exams is now taking place in the bookstore.
The last day to register for AP’s is Wednesday, March 17th.
Driver Education Registration – Summer School
Registration for summer school Driver Education classes has begun. If you are interested in this program, please stop by the Main Office to pick up a registration form. Classes will be offered only at South High School this summer, June 11 to July 23.Please return your completed registration form to the Main Office before the deadline on March 26.
Attention seniors: We have a new scholarship called “Great Expectations” sponsored by Aramark Food Service. It is open to DGN seniors that have demonstrated leadership ability through participation in community service, extracurricular and/or other activities. For more information, stop by the guidance office. Deadline for this scholarship is Friday, March 19th.
Attention Seniors - the Matt Pollmann Scholarship of $500 is available to graduating members of the class of 2010 who have received or are currently receiving special services. The applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 Applications are available in Room 221 and must be returned by 4/9/2010.
