Enrollment is now open for children ages 2-5 in the youth education programs at Downers Grove South High School and Downers Grove North High School. First-semester classes begin the week of October 15, 2019, and second-semester classes begin February 4, 2020.
District 99’s career and technical education program offers high school students studying child development the opportunity to work with children ages 2-5 years old in a playgroup setting throughout the school year.
“Our high school students always plan a variety of play activities to encourage preschool-age children to explore a new world of learning,” says South High Career & Technical Education Teacher Liana Ploski said. “Our programl is a valuable resource for both our preschoolers and students.”
