Anonymous Alerts Now Available

District 99 encourages behaviors that are respectful, responsible, and engaged so that all students reach their full potential. To support this endeavor, we started using a new communications tool called “Anonymous Alerts®”. Anonymous Alerts will allow everyone in our school community--students, parents, staff members and community members--to quickly, easily, and anonymously report urgent and serious information to school officials.

All submissions will remain completely anonymous, unless those reporting an incident request an in-person meeting. We will monitor the alerts we receive from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. when school is in session. Any reports submitted outside of these hours or during holidays will be responded to during the following normally scheduled school day. (NOTE: Anonymous Alerts is not a substitute for 911 or for issues requiring immediate assistance.)

You may access Anonymous Alerts to report an incident in one of three ways, all of which provide secure 1-way and 2-way encrypted messages:

  1. Click on the icon located at the top right-hand side on our district or school websites
  2. Visit https://www.anonymousalerts.com/communityhsd/ from any device
  3. Download the free app by searching for “Anonymous Alerts.” Enter setup/login communityhsd and enter communityhsd as your Password.

Any incident that causes you concern may be reported through Anonymous Alerts; including harassment, family difficulties, self-harm/cutting, drug and alcohol abuse, student depression, sexual harassment or strange/abnormal student behavior.

We believe that the best way to address challenges that our students face in school is through personal contact with a teacher, school administrator, psychologist or counselor, and we will continue to offer this full support to all students. This new tool will enhance our ability to further support those who need to communicate concerns anonymously.
