D99 Students Sweep the 2017 SkillsUSA Illinois Conference

Downers Grove North and Downers Grove South High School SkillsUSA Club students competed and won several awards in the 53rd annual SkillsUSA Illinois State Leadership and Skills Conference in Springfield over the April 27-29 weekend.

Downers Grove North students took home seven medals:

Interactive Game Design
Pradeep Senthil: Silver
Mohammed Zaiduddin: Silver
Tomas Bindokas: Silver
David Martinez: Silver

Engineering Technology Category
Veronica Lee: Gold
Eirene Kowal: Gold
Tyler Martin: Gold

Eleven South students finished in the top ten in 3D Visualization, Architectural CAD, Computer Programming and Mobile Robotics:
