District 99 Welcomes 25 New Leaders, Teachers for 2016-17 School Year

District 99 proudly welcomes 25 new leaders and teachers to North High and South High for the 2016-17 school year. The new teachers were introduced to district staff on Monday, August 15 to kick off their week of orientation.

In addition to new leaders Sara Courington, associate principal for curriculum and instruction and Cathy Bendicsen, assistant principal for student support services, new North High teachers include:

Other new teachers include Brandy Palmerin, who will serve both North and South in the Career and Technical Education department, Laura Rothamer, who will serve as a teacher at the Transition 99 Center and Kristy Gibson, who will serve both North and South Special Services departments as well as the Transition 99 Center.

Four teachers are District 99 alums: Tess Johnson is a North High graduate and Brandy PalmerinMike Paczkowski and Monica Schroeder are South High graduates.
