As a preparation for our careers in education, we studied, analyzed, and discussed
the four philosophies of education that have had a major impact on American education. In
turn, we then wrote our own philosophy of education, developed our own curriculum,
identified the roles of personnel and designed our own school buildings with all parts of
the design centering on a metaphor to demonstrate a variety of ways in which teaching and learning
are concieved.
