Introduction To Teaching
What We Are About:
We are a group of students who are interested in pursuing teaching as
a career.
About the class:
Introduction To Teaching meets five days a week periods 2 through 3. A student
in this class also is required to have 4A resource and 4B lunch, allowing for travel time
to and from the field school.
Two days of the week are spent in the classroom and three days are spent on the field,
with the mentor teacher.
Field Schools:
The students in Introduction to Teaching spend three days a week at one of the following
five District 58 schools with a personal mentor:
Pierce Downer, Lester, Whittier, Herrick, Highland
