Downers Grove South High School will be hosting for the first time a STEM Showcase for students to demonstrate their projects they have been working on over the past year. Students participating in the schools’ STEM-focused clubs, including Skills USA, Research Club, QuarkNet Research and Robotics Club, will be included. The community is invited to the STEM Showcase.

“The STEM Showcase will allow our kids to present the hard work they do outside of their classes, which has been taking place the entire year,” says DGS Science Teacher and Research Club Sponsor Michelle Sachtleben. “We wanted a platform to show off the students' dedication to their projects and the outstanding academic talent we have at DGS, and give the community an opportunity to see the results of this hard work.”
