DGS Students Inducted in French, German, and Spanish National Honor Societies

The Downers Grove South World Languages Department recently inducted 52 students into the French, German, and Spanish National Honor Societies. These organizations recognize high scholastic attainment in the study of foreign language and promote interest in the study of language, literature, culture, and civilization. To be eligible all students must be of highest integrity, have a cumulative grade point average of at least B (3.0), and must have a letter grade of A in the foreign language for a specified number of semesters.

“Being a member of NHS is a huge honor,” says South High World Languages Chair Tara Dellutri. “These students have worked very hard for this recognition, and I would like to congratulate them and their families on this tremendous accomplishment.”
