Students directly benefit from Foundation grants

Each year, the Foundation accepts grant requests from teachers in District 99 who want to make the classroom environment more challenging to students, but lack the necessary resources. A grant committee reviews and considers each application, and then determines the final award recipients.

Since its inception in 1994, the District 99 Education Foundation has remained focused on its mission to help deliver superior education to the students in our community. We have invested more than $200,000 for enhancement programs for students and teachers at both North High School and South High School in DownErs Grove, Illinois.
