BOARD OF EDUCATION

2009-2010 GOALS

By June 30, 2010 Board members will have reviewed the Quality Work Culture Initiative previously undertaken by the School Board and staff sufficient to allow consideration of the incorporation of some or all of the results and legacy of the Quality Work Culture Initiative either in the policy manual and/or Strategic Plan.

2010-2011 GOALS

By June 30, 2011, a policy or policies will be developed (after substantial collaboration with the Superintendent) to articulate the District’s preferred approach for succession planning with respect to key roles within the District.

By June 20, 2011, a process for the systematic review, update and revision of all school board policies shall be developed and initiated. Specific attention shall be given to streamlining the policy manual and removing obsolete and outdated material.
