Two District 99 teachers traveled to Armenia as part of an international teacher exchange.  Martha Merilos from North High School and Carol Redell from South High School traveled to Armenia from October 24, 1999 to November 12, 1999.

In return, two teachers from Armenia, Ruben Grigoryan and Armine Hovhannisyan, came to teach and share their experiences in District 99 classrooms from November 18 through December 8.  Ruben is a Math & Technology teacher and school administrator.  Armineh teaches English to Armenian students.
