2011-12 Preschool and Playgroup Openings
The preschool programs at North High School in Downers Grove, including its Preschool and Playgroup, have openings for the 2011-2012 school year! High school students studying child development are eager to take on an active teaching role for the programs, both of which are designed for parents to drop off their children.
Preschool is open to children ages three years old (by September 1) through kindergarten. Two, two-day a week sessions are offered, either on Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday. Both sessions run 12:50 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. The 9-week fall session starts in October; a 14-week spring session runs through May. The cost is $210 for the year.
Playgroup runs during the second semester, March—May 2012, for infants through ages three years old. The Playgroup meets three days a week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The cost is $90 for the 9-week session.
